The town experiences a mild climate with year-round rainfall and temperatures seldom drop below 10C or rise above 28C.The Wilderness Hotel is about a 45-minute drive to both Mossel Bay – west and Knysna – east, and a little less than an hour to Oudtshoorn, further inland, so it is perfectly placed for tour groups and individuals who want a base from which to explore the region.
