Boat and Horses Inn

For Spring 2022 we have refurbished 34 bedrooms meaning we now have 50 bedrooms for accommodation near Manchester. We now have 30 bedrooms overlooking the Rochdale Canal.

The rooms at the Boat and Horses are located by the JW Lees Boat and Horses pub and restaurant next to the Rochdale Canal. We offer newly refurbished, modern bedrooms next to a fantastic pub, so you can drink up the atmosphere at the end of a busy day. We are a popular location for business and leisure guests. Situated one minute from the M60 ring road and 5 minutes from the M62, we are next to Oldham Broadway Business Park, with easy access to the centre of Manchester on the A663. We are perfectly located for North Manchester hotel accommodation, Oldham, Middleton, Manchester centre and the surrounding areas. We are also directly on the main route between West Yorkshire and Manchester. Our big feature is our proximity to stay near Manchesters travel hubs allowing easy journeys to big attractions. Being just 6 miles from the centre of Manchester along the A663, within 5 miles of Etihad Stadium and 9 miles to Old Trafford. Oldham town centre, shopping and tourist attractions plus Boundary Park are all within 3 miles. We are also close to the Pennine Moors with fantastic walking around Dovestones and the village of Diggle.

For leisure breaks and events near Manchester we have family rooms for parties of more than two. If you are driving to Manchester for gigs at the AO arena, O2 Apollo or Old Trafford Cricket we are close to the metro that takes you through the centre of Manchester, the same tramline will take you to the centre for shopping, museums and galleries, dining out and Old Trafford. A 20 minute taxi ride will take you to the Northern Quarter and, in the other direction, Heaton Park if you are visiting for Parklife. We are only a 20 minute drive from the Trafford Centre and the ultimate shopping experience.
