17 acres of parkland with uninterrupted views of the Cheshire countryside provide Willington Hill with a secluded and scenic setting.
Set in 17 acres of parkland, Willington Hall offers uninterrupted views across the Cheshire countryside and towards the Welsh mountains. Steeped in history and sympathetically renovated, the Jacobean style house with its colourful facade of orange brick and blue brick diapering is Grade II listed. Inside the panelled ceiling entrance hall leads on to an open well oak staircase. Also listed are the surrounding terrace walls encompassing a listed sundial, York stone terrace and the kitchen gardens providing the hotel’s restaurant with fruit and vegetables. The 12 en-suite rooms are individually styled with sumptuous fabrics and antique furnishings. All have TV, hairdryer, trouser press, fresh fruit, tea and coffee making facilities and quality toiletries. Rooms range from standard to a four poster bed. Ideal for weddings, the hotel is one of the few places in the county where couples are able to get married outside. Here they have the Temple folly in the garden. For a more conventional wedding, the hotel also holds a civil ceremony licence for 3 rooms, with the Hamilton Suite able to accommodate up to 150 guests. For a touch of pampering and relaxation, the hotel has a purpose built Beauty Spa with two personal treatment rooms, a spray tan room, spa manicure station, nail bar and Jane Iredale mineral makeup station. For horse lovers, the hotel has an onsite equestrian centre, Willington Hall Riding Centre. Pets are allowed to stay for a nominal charge. Free Wi-Fi, onsite parking and helicopter landing pad.
