Right in the heart of Shakespeare country, the White Swan Hotel, dating back to 1450, evokes the spirit of the Bard with its authentic, Grade II listed Tudor architecture and traditional, atmospheric interiors. Sit back in a leather chair to enjoy classic British food and seasonal specials from the restaurant, all with locally sourced produce. Guests can also hold functions, including wedding receptions, private parties and conferences in the Montague and Capulet rooms for up to 70 people. There is also room for intimate private lunches and dinners. The 41 guest rooms have been recently refurbished to maintain supreme comfort within the traditional surroundings of the hotel. Room types available include classic doubles, classic twins, grand doubles and grand twins all come furnished with en suite bathrooms, free WiFi and various other modern amenities. Most impressive of all are the character rooms. Our character rooms are grand and historic, with four poster beds and wooden beams, contrasting with modern comfort and technology. Each is named after one of Shakespeare’s plays and carries with it a part of Stratford’s heritage.
