The ambience is intimate and refined, with original fireplaces, oak paneling, stained‑glass windows, and an 18th‑century fresco, all set around tranquil private gardens. Guests are welcomed with warm, attentive, highly personal service.
The hotel offers 37 individually designed bedrooms ranging from 19–43 sqm (205–463 sq ft). All feature a king or super king bed dressed in premium bed linens, and a marble en‑suite bathroom with rainfall shower. In‑room amenities include an espresso machine with complimentary pods, fluffy bathrobes and slippers, bottled mineral water, and free Wi‑Fi; TV, in‑room safe, hairdryer, and ironing facilities are also provided.
At the heart of the property is Bonnar’s Restaurant, a 30‑cover dining room set beneath a historic Thomas Bonnar fresco, serving locally sourced ingredients with a contemporary touch. The Gallery Bar offers classic cocktails, whisky, and a thoughtful wine selection alongside light lunch and snack menus. In fair weather, the Secret Garden provides a quiet urban oasis.
For small meetings and private dining, The Scott offers two private rooms for up to 14 guests, with day delegate packages and bespoke options available.
