Low energy, low carbon and zero waste aren’t a promise for later – they’re the factory settings, built into the systems running behind the scenes and into the design itself. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you eat what you want, when you want. A room here is yours for a full 24 hours – check-in and check-out both land at 2pm. . The room adapts to what the day actually needs, not the other way round. The building runs on a heat pump below ground. Solar panels cover 5% of energy demand, and the roof is planted with greenery to support local biodiversity. Every room is fitted with bespoke, handcrafted pieces made by artists and craftspeople from across the UK, so what you’re sitting on and sleeping in has a maker you could actually meet.
