At the Master Builder’s House we offer fresh, seasonal food, good quality wines and ales, and good company. Our AA Rosette awarded restaurant offers sumptuous dining, in discreet and comfortable surroundings. Our outside Crew Bar and Grill has seasonal opening hours.

The Yachtsman Bar is open daily, serving drinks and bar nibbles. You do not require table reservations for the bar. Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 10am, food is available from 12 to 3pm and 6 to 9pm every day, and drinks are served daily starting from 10am.

Many fine old naval ships were built at Bucklers Hard. In fact you can still see the old grassy slips just below the hotel. We think it appropriate to celebrate the work of Mr Henry Adams, the shipbuilder and former resident of the hotel building, by naming our rooms after some of his work.

The rooms in the Henry Adams wing are a more recent addition to the house, providing more contemporary lodgings for you and your pooch. Although not overlooking the river, you are just a short walk away from the shore and Bucklers Hard.

For those looking for something a little more private we have three beautiful holiday cottages with stunning views of Beaulieu River.
