Hotel Amadeus by First

The hotel has 65 non-smoking rooms, all of which have been refreshed in the last three years.

You have comfortable walking distance to Halmstads center where you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Halmstads theater is also within walking distance, as is the historic football arena Orjans vall. If you visit us during the summer months, the beaches in Tylosand and Frosakull are a short drive from here.

The distance to Halmstad airport is approximately 3 km and to the train and bus station approximately 1 km away.

Cleaning of the rooms is carried out daily and the towels are changed if necessary.

The reception is open 06:30-23:00 on weekdays and 07:00-23:00 on weekends.

Breakfast is served every weekday morning 06.30-09.30 and on weekends 07.00-10.00. There are freshly baked rolls, dark bread, filet and yogurt or scrambled eggs and meatballs for those who want it. As a guest, you always have access to coffee, tea and juice during the reception’s opening hours.

In the hotels basement there is a cosy sauna section with a dry sauna and a small steam sauna. If you prefer exercise in the form of running, Galgberget with various loops is a short run away or you can follow Prins Bertils path out to Tylosand is approximately 12 km away.

Hotel Amadeus has been owned since 2006 by the Tran family and has 6 employees. Most of the work is done within the hotel by the owners and employees. In recent years, the company has had good and steady occupancy, all year round, which is important in a city where so much is focused on the summer period. Here there is a recurring clientele both in the form of companies and private guests.
