Cosy boutique guesthouse located within a 15 minute walk to the centre of Cheltenham. Cheapest EV charging in Cheltenham – we have two 22KW electric vehicle charging points in our private carpark. Parking is free for guests. Built in 1850, the hotel boasts beautiful regency architecture. Setting foot in Beaumont guests feel that they have arrived at their home from home with its comfortable lounge and pretty garden to enjoy. We are boutique on a budget offering free parking well decorated rooms, self check-in, and tea and coffee in all bedrooms. Complimentary bottled water is provided in each guest’s mini fridge on the day of arrival.
There is no breakfast service however we offer grab and go muffins, cereal bars, juice and tea and coffee in the lounge each morning (no charge for this). An honesty bar is provided in the lounge with a small selection of drinks. Built in the 1850s as a private residence, it is the birth place of Captain Anketell Read. He was killed on the opening day of the battle of Loos 25th September 1915 and was subsequently awarded a posthumous Victoria Cross. A blue plaque by the entrance commemorates his birth at Beaumont House.
We highly recommend the local cafes/restaurants on Bath Road, just a 5 minute walk away, for breakfast, brunch and dinner. Cutlery and crockery is provided in the lounge for guests wishing to order in food.
Check-in at Beaumont House is any time from 2pm. Checkout is 11:30am. We provide a simple, touchscreen machine in the porch to check in (guests can check in any time from 2pm well into the night – there is no time cut-off to check in).

Beaumont House is an elegant regency guest house just a five minute drive from centre of Cheltenham and a few minutes walk to the supermarkets, cafes and bars of Bath Road. The fashionable Montpellier area with its buzzing restaurants and boutique shops is just a 15 minute walk away. Taxis are plentiful in Cheltenham and various taxi companies are listed on the noticeboard in the entrance hall if you wish to book the five minute trip into town.
