The dining room at The Well House, with its magnificent bay windows and sun terrace overlooking the lawns, has a contemporary style echoed in the cooking, though the traditions of the area are clearly in evidence. Cornish fish soup and freshly caught sea bass, turbot or lobster, along with wild boar, partridge and local English cheeses, are all features of the daily-changing menu at this internationally acclaimed restaurant. The hotel is set in four acres of gardens with an all-weather tennis court, heated swimming pool and croquet lawn - all in a spectacular setting. Excellent fishing, riding and golf can be found nearby, and the coastline offers matchless scenery and walking territory.
