More About Sefton Hotel
Promenade at the heart of the island capital, Douglas. Its wonderfully ornate cream façade is a Victorian classic, but behind the stucco, visitors are greeted by an explosion of greenery flourishing beneath the glass roof of the Atrium Water Garden. The Water Garden is intrinsic to the ethos of the hotel, a conscious rejection of the sealed windows, dry air and constant hum of many modern buildings. Instead, elegant palm fronds and lily ponds, ferns and luxuriant creepers create a fantastically soothing atmosphere and state-of-the-art technology allows nature itself to dictate the optimum conditions for hotel guests and plants alike. Tranquil bedrooms overlook the atrium or spectacular Douglas Bay. Friendly staff are happy to advise on anything from golfing (there are eight courses all within 10 miles of the hotel) to exploring the island by electric tram. The fine Gallery Restaurant and the Wallberry Lounge offer good food and a relaxing retreat. For business-minded visitors, the hotel also provides free wireless Internet throughout. An excellent experience - and one made all the better by its convenience of online booking, recommended for ease and better value!
