A wealth of rare plants and shrubs may be found in the lakeside gardens, accessed by a maze of little gravel paths. The meticulously restored manor has elegant en-suite accommodation individually furnished with antiques. These are matched only by the comfortable drawing rooms with open turf fires. The restaurant has proved popular with guests and locals alike, featuring Irish and international flavours, with fresh produce from local farms and the nearby Atlantic. The a la carte menu features dishes like pistachio-crusted Atlantic brill, Skeaganore duck breast and slow-roasted Iveragh salmon. Service is friendly, attentive and unobtrusive, allowing you to enjoy your meal and the views across the lake. The hotel is centrally located for touring all of Kerry's famous attractions and no less than 15 local golf courses. What's more, there are two fine Atlantic beaches just ten minutes away.
