A visit to Sark's Seigneurie Gardens is rewarding for everyone and a must for gardeners. They will enjoy the unusual plants which grow in the frost-free climate, grown in a formal setting in the walled garden, designed to be colourful throughout the season. There is a maze with a castle in the middle to keep children amused while the adults enjoy the flowers. The small open air museum offers Elizabethan and Georgian cannon among its exhibits, and the ponds made by monks many centuries ago to drive their mill are now home to ducks. In 2006 the Gardens will be open from the Monday before Easter till end of October (weather permitting), Monday to Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. The charges are: £1.80 adults / 90p children (Euros accepted)
